That’s welcome news for those getting twitchy about whether the smartphone was ever going to appear on UK shelves. And it should be worth waiting for too with top specs including 3G and broadband.
The goss’ on the gadget grapevine suggests Sony Ericsson’s Xperia X1 could be heading to the UK on October 30th.
The smartphone from Sony Ericsson has been long awaited, so news of a release date will have phone fanciers anticipating the feature packed phone with glee.
If you’re a betting man, HTC was always favourite to be the iPhone’s cardinal challenger. It’s series of Touch blowers, and in particular its finger-licking TouchFLO interface, showed signs of evolution beyond pretenders like Samsung and LG.
So, we’re not surprised to see it latest Windows-powered caresser, the Touch Diamond, rock up with ticklish moves straight out of class Cupertino.
HTC is no doubt looking to woo prospective iPhone buyers with its new touch sensitive super phone.
The Touch Diamond runs rival OS Windows Mobile 6.1 and has a 3D interface called TouchFLO 3D, which adds animation to many areas of phone interaction.
With all the fuss surrounding the HTC Touch Diamond, T-Mobile has announced a surprisingly similar spec handset.
Look closely at the features list and you’ll see that the Touch Diamond and MDA Compact IV are extremely similar, from the touch sensitive screen and 4GB of storage space to the Windows Mobile 6.1 software and TouchFLO 3D interface.
