Rumours circulating the internet has the Nokia N97 shipping a lot sooner than anyone was expecting. When Nokia announced it’s flagship model at the end of 2008, most pundits were expecting a June or later release for what Nokia is called it’s Next-gen handset.

However, rumours put the launch a lot sooner than that, with March 31st being rumoured.

A leaked Nokia promo image is currently doing the rounds on websville - and it seems to show off a very stylish-looking new touchscreen device.

The image shows a device that looks very much like an iPhone/Prada/Armani handset. In other words, it’s a black phone with the front face completely dominated by a touch-sensitive screen. In fact, the Nokia appears to have only two or three physical buttons. But it gets more interesting.
