Powered by the Qualcomm QSD8250 processor, it’s thought the HTC Diamond 3 will be set to run at 1GHz, making it one of the fastest Windows Mobile devices out there. In terms of memory, it’s looking like it will come with 512MB of RAM and 512MB of ROM, as well as 4GB of user accessible memory. The microSD slot should be able to add a further 32GB of storage.

Little else is known at this stage, other than the 5-Megapixel camera will come with auto-focus, flash and be able to record video at HD 720p resolution at up to 25 frames per second.

With no real-world sightings of the HTC Diamond 3 all we have to go on visually is this mock-up. So, does this sound like the kind of smartphone the Windows 6.5 market needs? Let us know what you think in the Comments below.

I don’t think that is a Diamond 3. The button layout is for Android, not WM and the HTC logo thats on phone has not been used by HTC for the about a year now.
