The Sony Ericsson Vivaz – the phone formerly known as Kuara - is set to go on sale in a few weeks but until now we’ve only seen official pics or grainy web leaks. Now, you can see what this Symbian touchscreen smartphone has to offer in the flesh.
The Sony Ericsson Vivaz is a 3G smartphone that comes with a 3.2-inch touchscreen and has resolution of 640 x 360 pixels, which puts it firmly in line with the Nokia 5800 or Nokia N97 Mini smartphones. Where is differs is that it will be offering in four quite different colour variants – silver, black, blue and ruby.
The Sony Ericsson Vivaz also comes with a 8.1-Megapixel camera with full auto-focus, image stabilisation, face detection and can even record video at a resolution of 720p. Other features include FM radio, AGPS, Wi-Fi, and TV-out, making this a pretty impressive piece of kit.
The Sony Ericsson Vivaz is a much more rounded and compact device than we’ve seen of late – yes, we’re thinking the Sony Ericsson Satio here – and while this is firmly a Symbian S60 device, it looks like you’ll be getting all the latest social networking tools, with even Twitter sitting pretty on the Homescreen.
