Motorola has released details of its latest Google Android handset, the Motorola MotoRoi, and it’s set to go onsale throughout the world. It features the same 3.7-inch screen as the Motorola Milestone, but it’s a more compact handset due to the lack of keyboard. To find out more about the Motorola MotoRoi, read on after the break…
The Motorola MotoRoi features a stunning high-resolution display, making the most of the Android operating system. The slimmer casing than the Motorola Milestone is also likely to win more fans, although the lack of keyboard means it’s not likely to be as capable when it comes to longer emails or editing documents.
That said, we weren’t fans of the Motorola Milestone’s QWERTY keyboard, finding it less usable than devices such as the Nokia N97 Mini, so the lack of keyboard on the MotoRoi may not actually be a hindrance.
Features include a 8-megapixel camera, putting it ahead of existing Android handsets, in in-line with the next generation of Android smartphones, including Sony Ericsson’s much anticipated Sony Ericsson Xperia X10.

The Motorola MotoRoi isn’t going to hit the shelves in the UK for a little while yet, but if your trips take you anywhere near South Korea you’ll be able to pick one up there, as it’s set to become the country’s first Android-based handset in the near future.
