The Motorola Backflip is a 3.1-inch touchscreen device with a flip-out QWERTY keyboard on the back. It also packs in a 3G connection, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, A-GPS, a 5-Megapixel camera with Flash and full access to the Android marketplace for apps and utilities.
The guys over at electricpig have been chatting with powers-that-be over at Motorola, where a spokesman confirmed ‘Given the exceptional response to DEXT and Milestone to date, we look forward to adding Backflip to our smartphone range in EMEA… in Q1 2010.’
Sadly, there is no news on pricing but that is expected to follow shortly, as it will need to go if we’re to see the Motorola Backflip before March.
