Vodafone will be the first telco to get the Nokia N900 on its service and will offer it to customers in January. Find out more about the Nokia N900 coming to Vodafone after the jump…
It seems that gossip on Vodafone’s own forum has proven right for once, as Vodafone Ireland had already admitted to carrying the handset.
The Nokia N900 is a Maemo 5 device and is the first Nokia device to use the new OS. While intended as a tablet device, it seems to have caught the imagination of users and has quickly become the Nokia device of choice. So much so that Nokia initially had trouble fulfilling orders.

However, that seems to be behind them now as Vodafone has announced that it will start selling the Nokia N900 in January. The 3.5-inch smartphone with QWERTY keyboard and 32GB of memory has only got a pre-order page at the moment and details of pricing and tariffs have yet to be announced.
With little else known at this point, we may have to wait until the New Year before any more information is released. So, will you be signing up for the Nokia N900 and is it really one of the best devices of the year? Let us know what you think in the Comments below.
