Samsung looks to be on a winning formula with its latest touchscreen phones as sales have hit new records, the company has revealed. Samsung look set to become one of the biggest players in the touchscreen phone market due to a range of affordable but stylish devices, such as the Samsung Genio Touch and Samsung S5230 Tocco Lite.
By targeting the youth and entry-level markets, Samsung has managed to push sales over 50 million, which puts Samsung ahead of the likes of Apple, who have apparently sold 34 million iPhones since 2007. According to a report on mobiletoday Samsung now accounts for around 20 per cent of touchscreen sales.
Next year the company is expected to continue this trend with the launch of a wide range of handsets.
