We waiting for the Asus Eee PC 1201N demo-units to start appearing over here but it has already made its first public appearance in an event over in Taiwan. The Asus Eee PC 1201N has a 12.1-inch LED-backlit screen with a HD Ready resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels and packs it full of the latest technology.
The use of the Intel Atom 330 processor was thought not to be coming to netbooks, as this chip uses too much power. However, you’ll find it running at the heart of the Asus Eee PC 1201N, along with 3072MB of memory and 250GB hard drive.
What’s more, it comes packed with Nvidia’s ION graphics core, so you’ll find this netbook to be the most powerful mini-machine on the market that helps deliver 3D graphics in a compact form factor.
The Asus Eee PC 1201N is set to launch in January 2010 and will have a retail price of £399 (inc. VAT).
