The Motorola Milestone looks like it could well be with us before Christmas and the number of pre-orders for Motorola’s first Android smartphone seem to be on the increase. What’s more, it looks like the Motorola Milestone could well launch as soon as the 7th December. Find out how much the Motorola Milestone is set to cost after the jump…
The Motorola Milestone first saw light of day in the US under the name of Motorola DROID. However, as we’ve already seen, this won’t be the case here in UK and the rest of Europe, as Motorola feels ‘Milestone’ is a far more fitting name for its first Google Android handset.
The Motorola Milestone smartphone comes with a 3.7-inch touchscreen, 16GB of internal memory and even has a 5-Megapixel camera. You’ll also HSPA connectivity, along with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.

A number of sites have hinted at a price for the Motorola Milestone, which went up for pre-order in Germany first at around £360. However, early birds here in the UK can expect to pay between £430 and £450 when the device initially ships. Naturally, this price will drop once the carriers get invlved as these are SIM free prices.
