The Sony Ericcson Xperia X10 could well be the most anticipated Google Android smartphone since the launch of the original T-Mobile G1. It’s not due for release until the first quarter of 2010 but the first previews have already started to appear. Check out the Sony Ericcson Xperia X10 preview for yourself…
The Sony Ericcson Xperia X10 is 4-inch touchscreen smartphone that comes with a800 x 480 resolution and runs the Google Android OS. Sony Ericsson is set to put its own interface on top, known as Nexus. Sony Ericsson is claiming this new interface gives its Android smartphone a smoother and better way of interacting with apps and the internet.
The guys over at Brighthand have managed to get their hands on Sony Ericcson Xperia X10 and given it a pretty decent preview. When it comes to size, they claim that it’s roughly the same size as the original Apple iPhone, so anyone worried the 4-inch screen will be a brick need not fear.

However, it’s the Nexus interface that really makes the Sony Ericcson Xperia X10 special. Apparently, it’s ‘a newer and richer GUI, and lastly improved service integration so your Twitter account, e-mail accounts, media player and more all work together seamlessly’.
Summing up their hands-on review, Brighthand claims the Sony Ericcson Xperia X10 ‘combines solid hardware and great features with Android and a robust UX platform’. Now, if that’s not enough to get you excited about the arrival of the new handset from Sony Ericcson we’d suggest checking out the rest of the preview, as it’s worth the read.
