The LG BL40 Chocolate already comes with an innovative design that makes the most of its 4-inch touchscreen with 345 x 880-pixel display. The mighty handset comes with a 21:9 aspect ratio display and LG’s own S-Class interface, HSDPA, Wi-Fi and GPS built-in.

However, what stopped the LG BL40 Chocolate being a true cutting-edge device was the rather ordinary camera. Fear not, as the Christmas Edition ramps this up to 8-Megapixel, so bringing the device firmly inline with other leading handset, such as the Nokia N86 8MP.
However, according to the story that popped up on Unwired, the LG BL40 Chocolate Christmas Edition is only set for a Far East release with no clear plans to launch it in the UK. However, innovation isn’t just for Christmas and we’re hoping that the 8-Megapixel LG BL40 Chocolate could well finds it way over here in the New Year – here’s hoping!
