The Sony VAIO W Series is a 10.1-inch netbook comes with n Intel Atom N280 processor, 1024MB of RAM and 250GB hard drive. You’ll also find that it packs in a good sized keyboard and Windows 7 Starter Edition.

The Sony VAIO W Series is available in a range of colours, from white and black to more exotic pink and aubergine models. However, it looks like there will be a limited edition Christmas model that takes the standard white chassis and adds a snow motif all of its own.
The Sony VAIO VPC-W121AX/WZ has a list price of $500 (£297) and is available for pre-order in the US at the moment. We’re waiting to hear whether this netbook will make it to the UK in time for the Christmas holidays.
