MSI looks set to expand it netbook range with the arrival of the MSI Wind L2100-036US 12-inch netbook, which aside form packing in a larger screen with a 1366 x 768-pixel HD Ready display, looks set to rock with an AMD Athlon Neo processor. As the numbering implies of the MSI Wind L2100-036US, this model is set for US market and seems to be very much a refresh of the Wind U210. The main difference is that it comes With Windows 7 Home Premium Edition rather than Windows XP.
The MSI Wind L2100-036US has a 12-inch screen with widescreen and HD Ready resolution, making this one of the more appealing netbooks in recent times. What’s more, it comes with what MSI calls its ‘Exclusive Ergonomic De-stress Keyboard’, which means it’s actually full size rather than the compact keyboards you’ll find on smaller netbooks.
The MSI Wind L2100-036US has already gone up for ordering in the US, at a price of $429 (£257). We’ll need to wait and see if this new model makes it over to the UK, as the MSI Wind U210 has already been announced over here.
