The 10.1-inch netbook doesn’t miss a beat, taking the same great styling we’re accustomed to with the Asus Eee PC Seashell 1005HA but with a feel of its own. If you’re looking for a bargain netbook then the £200 Asus Eee PC 1001HA could well be the perfect choice. With it’s 10.1-inch screen with standard 1024 x 600-pixel resolution, Intel Atom N250 processor, 1024Mb of memory and 160GB hard drive, it’s very much what we’ve come to expect from a netbook.
It’ll be running Windows XP at this price point, which isn’t a problem, and it comes with a 3-cell battery, so battery life will be around four hours. Other than that you’ll still find Wi-Fi and Ethernet built-in, along with VGA-out and three USB ports.
The Asus Eee PC 1001HA doesn’t have an official launch date yet but it is expected to ship in the New Year. As soon as we have a set date we’ll let you know.
