Sony has updated its VAIO laptop range with the Sony VAIO CW Series, which could well be the most colourful array of 14-inch laptops ever. You can change from pink, white, red, blue or purple. There is also a more sedate black but where is the fun in that? Check out what’s on offer with the new Sony VAIO CW Series after the jump…
The Sony VAIO CW Series is set to launch on the 22nd October, largely due to the inclusion of Windows 7. However, these fun and easy to use laptops, have more to offer than simply a new OS. Sony has given the Sony VAIO CW Series a new and fresh look that is both youthful and chic with a compact weight of 2.4kg.
The 14-inch screen has a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels, so you’ll be able to make the most of the true widescreen display for movies, as well as websites.
When it come to performance you’ll find an Intel Core 2 Duo Processor P7450 running at 2.13GHz, 4096MB of memory and a 320GB hard drive in place. Graphics are handled by the Nvidia GeForce GT 230M GPU, which means you’ll be able to handle 3D games as well as video editing on this machine.
Other features include HDMI port for connecting this laptop up to your HD TV, while at the touch of one-button you can quickly gain access to the internet, your media gallery, or simply power down the machine.
The Sony VAIO CW Series will consist of five different models when it ships on the 22nd October, with pricing starting at £700 (inc. VAT).
