The Sony Ericsson Xperia X2 isn’t due out until November, but we’ve got a sneaky peak of it in action, thanks to our friends over at FoneHome.
In it you can see that the handset boasts a distinctive SlideView feature that helps you to have instant access to messages, media and contacts. The SlideView also provides an overview of missed calls, text messages and emails. The QWERTY keyboard is also a nice touch.
The Xperia X2 also comes with 14 preloaded panels (16 more are available for download) that give you access to Skype, Mytopia and Google, games, CNN, and Windows Live. You can also customise the homescreen with different widgets and shortcuts depending on the time of the day
The handset also has a whopping 8.1-Megapixel camera. It also has a 3.2-inch touchscreen display, supporting up to 480 x 800 pixels so you can enjoy high resolution films and pictures.
There are rumours of a January 2010 launch for the Xperia X3, but this has not yet been confirmed by Sony Ericsson. Pricing for the X2 will be announced at the start of November.
