The Asus Eee PC Seashell 1005HA is one of our favourite netbooks but we’ve never seen one with 3G, nor in any Asus Eee PC for that matter, actually built-in. However, that could all be about to change with the news that the Asus Eee PC ‘Seashell’ 1005HAG comes with 3G built-in and has been announced… check out the details on the Eee PC ‘Seashell’ 3G netbook after the jump…
The Asus Eee PC 1005HAG is an update of the great Asus Eee PC Seashell 1005HA and is set for launch. It has the same stunning 10.1-inch screen but this netbook comes with 3G built-in. It comes with the standard Windows XP OS, Intel Atom N270 processor and 1GB of RAM but the inclusion of Mobile Broadband built-in does kind of make it something special.
Sadly, we’re not likely to see this model in this country any time soon. At the moment, the Asus Eee PC 1005HAG is only going to be made available for the Japanese market and will ship on the 19th September. It has a price of 52,800 yen (£365), which places is a little more expensive than the current Asus Eee PC Seashell 1005HA.
