The HP Envy 13 laptop has been officially announced and brings with it a super-thin design and a look straight from the high-end fashion magazines. OK, so it looks a bit like an Apple MacBook but this Windows 7 laptop offers a host of unique features. Check out what’s on offer with the HP Envy 13 laptop after the jump…
The HP Envy 13 laptop is a super-slim laptop and has just been officially announced by HP. However, we won’t see this machine in the flesh until Microsoft launches Windows 7 at the end of October.
The HP Envy 13 laptop has a 13.1-inch screen with WXGA display and ATI Radeon HD 4330 graphics, so we’ll see decent 3D performance on this high-end laptop. The HP Envy 13 comes with a 4-cell battery and a 6-cell battery slice. HP is claiming this ’slim fit’ battery that slots on the underside of the chassis will bump the battery life up to 18 hours of life on the go.
When it comes to core specs, you’ll find an Intel Core 2 Duo SL9400 processor, 3GB RAM, 250GB hard drive and the new Windows 7 OS helping to tick all the right boxes. Features include, 802.11n Wi-Fi, 2-in-1 card reader, two USB ports, and a webcam.
Official UK pricing has yet to be set but with a US price of $1699 (£1000) we’re not expecting the HP Envy 13 laptop to be cheap.
