The Acer Ferrari One is the latest netbook to make an appearance and looks like it will ship with Windows 7, so we can expect a launch around the end of October. However, with the weight of the Ferrari brand name being this little number, it’s bound to cause something of a stir when it hits the fast-lane in October. Check out the full details on the Acer Ferrari One after the jump….
The Acer Ferrari One is the latest netbook to hit the market and will launch on 22nd October as it is among the first netbooks to be officially seen running Windows 7.
However, that’s not the only interesting feature of the Acer Ferrari One, as it’s also one of the first netbooks to sport AMD’s Congo platform, which will deliver a dual-core Athlon X2 L310 (1.2GHz) processor and ATI Radeon 3200 graphics to this striking red shelled mini-marvel.
The rest of the tech spec make this pretty much a netbook for the mainstream, with an 11.6-inch screen (1366 x 768 pixels), Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, optional 3G HSDPA module and Dolby surround sound. Apparently, it will also ship with an XPG port for connecting an external graphics device.
The Acer Ferrari One is set to ship the same day Windows 7 is released, so expect October 22nd. Pricing is expected to start at 499 Euros (£435).
