The Nokia N97 Mini has been confirmed as real courtesy of the Nokia Blog who has images snapped from a major retailer. The shot confirms the existence of the Nokia N97 Mini, which is expected to be a 2.9-inch variant of the Nokia N97. Along with a smaller screen, the QWERTY keyboard has lost the distinctive D-pad. It is also expected the Nokia N97 Mini will also pack less storage than the flagship model.
Also of interest in the photo is the emergence of what could well be known as the Nokia 5800 Chrome, or more possibly the Nokia 5900. Little is known about this other than the striking similarity to the Nokia 5800 but with a metallic Chrome finish.
We’re not expecting any more details to emerge before Nokia World 2009, which starts in the first week of September.
