has already announced that it will be expanding its ‘Seashell’ range with its largest netbook to date, in the form of the 11.6-inch Asus Eee PC 1101HA. The super-slim netbook comes with a near full-sized keyboard and a claimed battery life of close to eight hours. So, is this your next netbook, find out the full facts on the Asus Eee PC 1101HA After the jump…
The Asus Eee PC 1101HA is a netbook with a 11.6-inch netbook that delivers a HD resolution and a battery life that should see you working through the day without too much hassle. Until now, Asus has contented itself with 8.9-inch netbooks such as the Eee PC 900, or 10-inch netbooks like the Asus Eee PC 1005HA Seashell.
Based around the new Asus ‘Seashell’ design, this super-slim netbook delivers a near full-sized keyboard, so writing emails and documents on the move just got a whole lot easier. When it comes to tech spec, you’ll find a 1.33GHz Atom processor ticking things along nicely, backed by 1024MB of memory and the now almost obligatory 160GB hard drive.
As you would expect from this level of spec, the Eee PC 1101HA is running Windows XP. There is no word whether Asus will offer its own Linux version, but it seems highly unlikely in the current climate.
The Asus Eee PC 1101HA is set to hit the stores later this month with a suggested price, no official UK pricing at this point, of 399 Euros (£340).
