Best Five secrets of the Apple iPhone 3Gs

The Apple iPhone 3Gs has gone on sale today and promises to be the most in-demand and best looking iPhone of them all. However, looks aren’t everything when you’re choosing the perfect smartphone. SO, we’ve taken the lid off the Apple iPhone 3Gs to find the five best secrets of the Apple iPhone 3Gs.

The Apple iPhone 3Gs is a great looking smartphone and also promises to be the fastest iPhone ever. The ’s’ in the name even stands for ‘Speed’ but what other secrets of the Apple iPhone 3Gs can we unearth?

Resistant body
The new Apple iPhone 3Gs has a body is a far hardier beast than its predecessor and is resistant to both oil and water, which means you’ll be able to use it out in the rain without working about damaging its good looks.

Same size
Apple has tried hard to make the Apple iPhone 3Gs the same size and shape as the older iPhone 3G and it succeeded, albeit making the new Apple iPhone 3Gs 2g slightly heavier. What this means is all the accessories you bought for your old iPhone will fit and work with the new model.

Photo options
Apple has been working on the camera in the Apple iPhone 3Gs, improving the overallĀ  quality and speed. However, the best feature has to be the inclusion of ‘Macro Mode’ that works up to 100mm away, so taking snaps super-close is now possible.

Web sign-on
Like the Apple Mac laptop, the Apple iPhone 3Gs likes to remember things, so will automatically log any website text you enter. This is great for keeping tabs on email addresses, postal addresses of even user names. This means you need only log into your favourite sites only once!

Never get lost
Spies may like to have a compass in their shoe, we like ours in our phone and the new Compass app that comes pre-installed is ideal. It can tell you the difference between true and magnetic North, as well as give out full GPS coordinates. Double tapping the location icon in Google Maps spins the map to be the right way round.

There you have it, the best kept secrets of the Apple iPhone 3Gs. Found any you think are worth shouting about? Let us know in the Comments below.
