The Palm Pre will be coming to the UK later this year – it was hoped that it would arrive this summer but due to limited numbers, it’s set to rollout in the US in the next few weeks and once demand has been sated with move in to other territories.
However, it looks like O2 is set to followup on its Apple iPhone exclusive in the UK by signing up the Palm Pre. Get the full facts after the jump…
The Palm Pre is set to launch next month in the US under exclusive contract on mobile network Sprint, who will be offering the Palm Pre for $199.99 (£130) on a fixed two year contract. However, it’s been reported that due to low levels of initial stock, the US will be the only country to carry the Palm Pre for the first few months.

The Palm Pre looks set to ship in this country later in the year under exclusive contract with O2. A report on the The Guardian site would suggest that O2 has already bagged the device for most European countries. No pricing or release schedule is known at this point.
