The Asus F70 is best described as a ‘Desktop Replacement’ laptop as it comes with a 17.3-inch Super-TFT display that sits in perfect 16:9 aspect ratio. This is good news, as this machine is intended for use as the heart of your home entertainment centre.
The srceen has a full 1080p HD display and even come swith Altec Lansing surround sound speakers for HD audio. We’re a little surprised that Blu-ray hasn’t been fitted by once you find out the price is just £859 (inc. VAT), it begins to make sense.
At this price you can expect a spec that consists of Windows Vista, an Intel Core 2 Duo porcessor, 4096MB of RAM and 500GB of storage. Graphics are provided by an Nvidia dedicated card, so you’ll even be able to play games on the Asus F70.
