The Sony Ericsson W205 has been announced and is a new entry-level music phone for those who need to ditch their MP3 player and have it integrated into their phone.
The Sony Ericsson W205 is set to join the more high-end Walkman phones, such as the Sony Ericcson G502 and the Sony Ericsson K770i, mixing style music and functionality in one neat package. has a stylish black case with a slide-out keypad and the whole package keeps down to a more than pocketable 96g.
The Sony Ericsson W205 has a 1.8-inch screen with a resolution of 128 x 160 pixels and supports 65,536 colour. You’ll find a mere 5MB of storage space packed in but you can add up to 2GB of extra storage using the Memory Stick Micro port.
his entry-level music phone delivers with is a 1.3-megapixel camera, support forĀ GSM/GPRS/900/1800. Bluetooth comes as standard, as well as a host of Sony Ericsson apps.
To accompany the Sony Ericsson W205 Walkman, there is the new Sony Ericsson MS410 Snap-on Speaker Stand. The speaker features amazing stereo sound, and even has an integrated FM radio and has a sliding mechanism that allows it to be used with not only the W205 but with any Sony Ericsson Walkman phone.
The Sony Ericsson W205 Walkman will ship later this year but the Snap-on Speaker Stand is expected in the shops within the next six weeks.
