Facebook 1.5 for BlackBerry does away with the need for you to delve directly into Facebook by allowing you to open all your Facebook messages from inside your mail box. This is a great step forward and makes the app an almost essential bit of software.
Contacts is a natural fit for Facebook and this new app seamlessly slips your Facebook contacts into that of your device. The beauty is, you don’t have to have your contacts live and you can even manage them from with the phone.
BlackBerry Calendar integration works in a similar way, with any events posted into your Facebook account being synced with that on your smartphone. This makes meeting up and keeping track of what friends are up to a whole lot easier.
