The HTC Touch Pro has received a firmware update that will stabilise performance and improve the camera functionality of the Windows Mobile smartphone. The big fix is in a fault with the TouchFLO 3D interface that makes the screen of the HTC Touch Pro actually looked as though it’s cracked. Check out the other bug fixes after the jump…
HTC released an update to its HTC Touch Pro Windows Mobile 6.1 smartphone and has made it available for the following languages: English, Italian, Dutch, German, French, Finnish, Portuguese and Spanish.
The firmware update is pretty standard and fixes a range of bugs that have appeared in the device since launch. Along with fixing the apparent screen crack scare, the bug also fixes another TouchFLO 3D flaw, which caused the screen to hang when loading.
Of the other feature update, you’ll now find the auto focusing of the camera easy to handle, as well as preview screens no longer blacking out. Other general fixes make the OS more stable and respond quicker.
If you own the HTC Touch Pro and want to get your hands on the update, you can do so from the HTC website. We’d advice you to back up your data and details before carrying out any routine update, as this could save potential heartache should anything crash.
