Acer continues to roll out its smartphone with the Tempo F900 being the latest Windows Mobile 6.1 device to be announced. This professional level smartphone offers everything the mobile use can expect, including super-fast connectivity to your email, as well a superior we browsing experience.
Acer is pitching the Acer Tempo F900 smartphone at the high-end user, as you’ll find a 3.8-inch touchscreen fitted, as well as Windows Mobile 6.1 – we’re expecting there to be an easy upgrade path to Windows Mobile 6.1 via an automatic update.
Acer is reporting the F900 will come with a specially designed touchscreen interface that incorporates a new easy-to-use touch keyboard, as well providing quick links to all your PIM functions, including contacts, email messages, bookmarks, calendars, date and time, world weather and music.
The Acer Tempo F900 also comes with an integrated 3.2-megapixel camera that manages to pack in auto-focus with flash,
Connectivity comes courtesy of a high-speed 3.75G HSDPA/HSUPA connection and you’ll also find 802.11g Wi-Fi built-in. A-GPS is fitted as standard but there is no word at this stage as to the choice of maps that will come pre-loaded. Other features include MP3 and video players, as well as FM radio and voice command controls.
There is no word on pricing or launch date for the Acer Tempo F900 but we’re expecting to see the device appear in the second half of the year.
