Screen appeal
The 10.2-inch screen has the standard 1024 x 600-pixel resolution of almost all netbooks but the bright LED technology makes it one of the sharpest screens out there.
Keyboard magic
The larger screen means there is plenty of room for a 93 per cent normal size keyboard. Samsung has given it an anti-bacterial coating, so it’s feels smoother than other keyboards around too.
Battery life
We locked the Samsung NC10 doing six-hour without a charge, which makes this one of the longest running netbooks on the market. The 1.33kg weight makes it one of the lightest in its class too.
Size matters
Running Windows XP you’ll need a decent spec backing up your netbook and with the Intel Atom N270, 1024MB of memory and whopping 160GB hard drive you’ll be impressed with how well this handles.
HSDPA driven webbing
This version doesn’t come with Mobile Broadband built-in but you can easily add it. What’s more, you’ll find some great offers on Mobile Broadband that will allow you browse the internet and get email no matter where you are.
Corking camera
The NC10’s 1.3-megapixel webcam is great for web-chats and generally getting things done in video. The software is easy to use and simple to set up.
