The Apple iPhone has received an update to its firmware. Everyone’s favourite smartphone has received something of an update that fixes a few bugs and makes the platform sturdier yet.
The update takes the firmware up to version 2.2.1 of the operating system. It weighs in at a hefty 245MB and is available now. From what we’ve seen, it makes Safari a little more rock solid, so you can surf longer. There is also a fix for Camera Roll, which has been showing a fault in some but not all devices. Apparently, there has been a fault with the iPhone’s Mail app not showing images properly, but this has now been fixed.
And what do you need to do to get this update you ask? Simply sync your iPhone, or iTouch, with your PC and it’ll update automatically.
