The Sony Ericsoon Xperia X1 has received its first firmware update. This is something of a coo for the Xperia as it promises to fix many of the annoyng little bugs that users have discovered on the handset since it’s launch.
Of the bugs fixed, perhaps the most telling are the ongoing problems with 3G/GSM signal sensitivity as well as providing greater image stability in the Camera application. Image quality of the 3.2-megapixel has also been improved, and the shutter sound is now turned on to stop you taking furtive snaps in places you shouldn’t.
