What is reported to be the T-Mobile G2 Google Android handset has been seen alive and very well and living on the internet. At least the leaked images of the device that have started to appear would attest to.
The handheld is set to be released alongside a slew of other Goodle Android based devices this year, so it will be interesting to see how it has been improved over the T-Mobile G1 Google Android .
Images uncovered by Gizmondo show that the T-Mobile G2 Google Android has been made by HTC and has gone in for a bit of design change. The image shows that the hardware keyboard has disappeared, no doubt in favour of an onscreen one.
The device would appear to be slimmer, so no doubt lighter in the hand and the whole look is cleam. We can only say the whole device now looks more like a direct iPhone challenger. You can see what we thought of the first T-Mobile G1 Google Android phone in our review here.
The screen looks bigger and the touchscreen display more pronounced. It seems to be running the same version of Google Android that we’ve seen on the previous model. Other specifications are thin on the ground but it looks likes it’ll have a 3.2-megapixel camera.
Speculation for a release date is rife, with mid-May being cited as the most likely. We’ll keep you informed as more information becomes available.

It is the HTC Hero. Looks pretty cool. As opposed to what was speculated in the article above, it has a 5 Mp camera
