Sony Ericsson has pulled the wrappings off a brand new pair of mobile phones.
The C510 Cyber-shot is the first handset to sport Smile Shutter, a Sony technology that holds off on snapping the shutter until your subject is smiling. Its 3.2-megapixel camera also sports auto focus, face detection, quick editing tool and YouTube-friendly videos that are formatted for quick, easy uploading to the web.
Also on board is GPS, which offers location tagging for your photos as well as access to Google Maps.
The W508 is a music-centric mobile with Sony’s Walkman player software, album art display, Mega Bass, stereo Bluetooth and SensMe, which builds playlists based on a handful of tagged tracks. And thanks to a built-in accelerometer, you can shake the handset to shuffle your music playback.
Both phones have 3G HSDPA for speedy web browsing and downloading, and will be on sale from the second quarter of the year.
