Samsung Pixon specs, photos, video and facts

It could well be time to ditch that digital camera and pick up a Samsung Pixon. The eight megapixel whippersnapper has plenty of photo taking tricks to make even the most advanced standalone digital cameras collapse in a fit of jealousy.

For a start it’s loaded with an LED flash, face detection, Advanced Shake reduction, blink detection, smile detection and more. Not to mention nippy web browsing and music playing skills thanks to 3G and HSDPA. Read on for all the essential Samsung Pixon facts.

Samsung Pixon facts

What! How many?
A colossal eight megapixels ensures your images will always look their best, even when blown up to large sizes, making it a perfect replacement for your digital camera on nights out.

Picture perfection
Samsung’s Pixon has most of the photo tech you’re likely to find on high priced digital cameras such as shake reduction, face detection, blink detection, smile detection, panorama shooting, coloured photo effects and more.

Fiddle with your photos
The 3.2-inch wide touchscreen combined with the photo browser make for a delightful photo viewing experience, just flick through your collection as if it were a physical photo album.

Vicious video skills
Samsung’s latest photo phantom doesn’t just settle for the 30 frames per second video shooting some blowers have been boasting. No sir. This one goes up to 120fps for video quality that David Attenborough would be jealous of.

Honey I shrunk the phone
Samsung has somehow managed to cram in all the photo taking, music playing, video capturing and Internet browsing genius and shrunk it into a device that measures up at just 13.8mm slim. It’s madness, we tell you.
