Sony Ericsson codenames get silly
The mobile maker has leaked one of its flagship phones for next year, codenamed Brittany. What the clamshell Walkman has to do with northern France we’re not sure, but we do know it’ll pack the external screen of the W380, a 3.2 megapixel camera, 240×320 resolution internal screen and Walkman 3.0 software. It’s scheduled for release before July next year.

Nokia to get DAB radio?
If you thought Nseries phones were capable of just about everything, you could soon be proved right. Nokia has promised to put DAB digital radio in its handsets - once the technology becomes universal. If you want some crystal clear choons on your N96 anytime soon, better round up all those FM radios in your house and bin them.

HTC Touch HD hotfix
We love HTC’s epic touchscreen phone, the Touch HD, but while it may have the largest, high-deffy feely panel on the market, it’s not the most responsive. Owners rejoice then, as HTC’s just released a firmware fix for the pesky crash that happens if you’re using touch intensive apps, and it’s available here.

Sony Walkman gets mini
Convergence is a wonderful little thing, and Sony Ericsson’s kaleidoscopic Xmini range has just launched in Japan to kill off the MP3 player once and for all. They’re just 75 x 44 x 18mm, but still manage to squeeze in 4GB of storage and a slide out keypad. No word on a UK release date yet, but given the popularity of micro-machines like the iPod Nano, we’ll be keeping a close one on these little pieces of Oriental eye candy.
Check out the Xmini range in the gallery below - just hit the thumbnails to blow them up.
