Dell has been dabbling in PDAs for sometime now, but its now taken the plunge into the smartphone market with the Traveler 619 GPS Smartphone.
Long name aside, it’s a Windows Mobile 6 powered device with full Qwerty keyboard, so likely to go down well with business users and text talkers.
It also packs a 2.8-inch touchscreen display which stretches to a QVGA 320×240 resolution.
There’s Wi-Fi built in, for fast data when you’re in sight of a hotspot, plus Bluetooth and even infrared. The camera stretches to 2-megapixel and as it runs Windows Mobile you get the full complement of cut down office apps like Word, Excel and Outlook.
