Sky has teamed up with mobile network 3 to bring its mobile TV service to 3G customers. The channels are streamed over the network, so available wherever there’s mobile coverage.
The service will offer a number of live channels, including Sky News, Sky Sports, At The Races and CNN.
As all the data is being pulled over the network, though, unless you’ve opted for one of 3’s internet packages it could get pretty expensive. The internet add-on is available for just £5 per month.
To sign up, customers just need to follow the Planet 3 link on their handset. Once their, they can choose whether they want the News and Sports pack, Entertainment pack or Music pack and then sit back and enjoy the action.
