Asus is taking the touchscreen wars back to raw processing power with its new P565 handset - which packs a super speedy 800MHz chip.
According to Asus it’s the fastest on the market and we’ve no reason to doubt it. If you’re looking for some serious processing power to carry round in the palm of your hand then it’s an instant must have.
It runs Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional so you get access to Pocket versions of Word, Excel, Outlook and Powerpoint and the touch side of things is taken care of by Asus’ own Glide interface.
The screen stretches to 2.8-inch with a high res 480×640 pixel display. There’s HSDPA for fast data, plus GPS to keep track of where you are. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are standard and the camera comes in at a reasonable 3-megapixel.
