Samsung has upped the spec of its Omnia phone for its home market by increasing the screen resolution and packing in a digital satellite TV receiver.
The Korean version, called the T*Omnia, sports a 3.3in 480×800 resolution touchscreen and can tap into satellite DMB (digital multimedia broadcasting) transmissions.
It runs Windows Mobile 6.1 and packs all the top end features you’d expect like GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and up to 16GB of storage. The camera stretches to 5 megapixels and you get super speedy data thanks to HSDPA support.
No word yet on a UK version, although we’re looking to the skies in hope of something hitting our fair shores.
