Samsung only unveiled its dazzling new i7110 on Wednesday, but we’ve already got our grubby mitts all over one, and it certainly lives up to the hype.
The fat-free design almost fooled us - somehow it manages to fit in a 5-megapixel camera and 16GB of storage despite being just 12.9mm thick.
That might only blow you away if you have the spec sheet to hand, but what you can’t fail to notice with one of these in your palms is the vibrant screen. It’s Samsung’s first to use OLED technology, making colour and motion shine, and movie playback on your mobile a serious standout feature you’ll be keen to exploit.
Rather shoot your own? Not a problem - the camera also films at same-speed-as-telly 30fps, and with a screen this good, you may not want to use a plain old computer to edit it after. Based on our play with it, this could be the candy bar star on top of the Christmas tree when it comes out later this year.
