The Android-powered T-Mobile G1 is heading for the UK next month, but don’t worry if you can’t wait that long to get your hands on it - T-Mobile’s website is currently hosting a preview version of the interface that you can play around with.
Obviously no Flash-based web preview can come close to pawing and prodding the real thing, but it’s the best most of us are going to get for a few weeks, and to be fair to T-Mobile it’s surprisingly comprehensive. While you can’t test out the GPS or camera (clearly!), you can scoot around the touchscreen and keyboard interface and take a reasonably in-depth look at most of the new Google-designed Android interface - which is, of course, making its debut on the G1.
You can give it a whirl for yourself by heading over to the G1 emulator page here.
