HTC has turned out its third device in as many days. This time it’s the flagship Touch Diamond’s turn to take centre stage, with the no-longer-standard black casing swapped for pristine white.
Sound familiar? It should. The eagle-eyed amongst you will note the similar change recently of the once hard-to-find white iPhone becoming more widely available. Keeping up with the Joneses anyone?
Nothing has changed on the phones insides; it’s still a tri-band EDGE/ 3G handset with a 2.8-inch touch screen, running Windows Mobile 6.1 professional with the rather snazzy HTC TouchFlo 3D interface.
Personally we’re still waiting for the firmware update which so far has only made an appearance in the Far East. Turning the phone into a quad-band device, it should help it rattle up the old desirability stakes.
