Accessory bigwig Belkin could be planning to develop a games controller for the iPhone.
If the rumours are true it’ll be called the Belkin Joypod and will add more clout to the iPhone’s increasing gaming credentials.
The Joypod will feature eight buttons and an analogue stick, adding the kind of control you’d expect from a gaming handheld.
If the Joypod goes ahead it won’t be the first phone to benefit from a dedicated gaming controller. Earlier it was announced that Nokia users would be getting a wireless Zeemote JS1 Controller to get the most out of N-Gage games.
