Nokia’s excitedly announced the N85 phone packed with enough features to get its older N95 sibling looking over its shoulder.
The first thing you’ll notice is the 2.6-inch lush OLED screen capable of displaying a rainbow mocking 16 million colours. Like the N95 it’s also got Wi-Fi and HSDPA for speedier browsing. But there’s more.
As you’d expect from a top end Nokia it’s packed with navigation nuggets such as GPS and comes with Nokia Maps 2.0. It also has a 5-megapixel camera with geotagging for super quality location finding snapping on the move.
And like Nok’s XpressMusic phones it has dedicated music keys and a 3.5mm headphone socket to play friendly with any cans of your choosing, so there’s no need to splash out on new headphones.
The N85 will arrive packed with a generous 8GB of memory, which can be upped with a microSD card when it lands on counters in September. That’s next month, Nokia fans.
