The Samsung i8510 will finally be landing in eager phone snapping customers’ hands this September.
The 8-megapixel mobile has been flirting with phone fanciers, without slipping any kind of release date, but it’s now confirmed to be UK bound next month. The potential iPhone 3G beater will arrive with a tonne of features that could do just that.
First of all it puts the iPhone’s 2-megapixel shooter to shame, offering six more. It’s a top snapper too, with a smile shot feature that takes a picture when your subject as much as flashes a smile, it’s sure to give Sony Ericsson’s C902 a run for its money.
Its talents don’t end there. With storage up to 16GB, 3G, Wi-Fi and HSDPA it’s as good a mobile Internet browser as any out there. It’s a media mogul too, supporting a swathe of formats such as DivX, WMV, Real Player and MPEG4 formats.
Add GPS with a geotagging feature to label the locations of snapped photos and this 8 megapixel monster looks like scaring the competition.
