Flaunting a real metal body and attractive 10.9mm slim torso, the LG KF510 rocks up with a sensational build quality that belies its lower middle class upbringing.
Essentially, this skater is a funked up Shine but injected with the Chocolate’s front touch sensitive key pad arrangement. But where our sweet slider proved fickle in the touch department, the KF510 is far more responsive to your thump taps, although it’s still open to accidental tickles, so beware.
The KF510’s keypad also puts on a diverting light show of sparkling LEDs and seduces the fashionistas with eye-catching graduating paint work. But while it confidently strides the style the mile, LG has still kitted out this slider with some natty features.
The 3.2-megapixel snapper is actually a very sharp shooter, sporting autofocus and taking some decent snaps with vibrant colours. Likewise, the music player is replete with the right sort options and ten-strong equalizer, although we recommend you plug in your own quality earphones via an adapter to upgrade the somewhat low volume sound. In fact the only real major oversight is that LG hasn’t fitted a 3G engine; yep, you’re left with listless EDGE for download duties.
Verdict
Such is the exceptional build quality of this mid-range slider you could easily mistake it as a fully-paid up member of LG’s Black Label Series.
