The brand new Skypephone S2 from 3 offers more than just free calls.
The phone, like its predecessor enables free calls to Skype users at home and abroad, as well as those with a Skypephone and features a built in modem so you can sync it with your laptop.
A few features from the previous model have been given a boost. The S2 promises a better snapper and zippier data speeds for faster browsing. Like the previous Skypephone, Skype contacts are integrated into your phonebook making Skype calls a cinch. It also handily lists all your social networking sites.
3’s also added aesthetic improvements. Gone are the toy-like plastic keys and in comes silver keys surrounded by a stainless steel body, so while it’s a cost effective phone, it won’t feel like one. It’ll be available to Skype fanciers on August 18.
