Orange has revealed that its Orange Mail Internet Service-OMIS- is to expand, ready to get business heads emailing straight from their blower for less.
OMIS will be available as a Pay As You Connect bundle of joy with prices starting at £5.11 per month for 250MB’s of data.
The service itself will cost emailers £2.50 per month, plus the usual data costs. Orange is calling it a “low-cost, reliable and easy-to-use alternative” to regular email on the phone
You don’t have to own the likes of a Blackberry to get in on the email action, the service works on non-email dedicated mobiles too, such as the Nokia Series 40 and many Sony Ericsson phones.
Customers can try it out by texting “OMIS” TO 247 from an Orange handset.
