Sony has launched a set of speakers capable of wirelessly playing music from a mobile phone.
The SRS-BTM30 will pair up with pretty much any audio device that carries Bluetooth 2.0, so in addition to most recent mobile phones, it’s compatible with PCs, Macs and some MP3 players. And if your music gadget doesn’t have Bluetooth, you can connect it up the old-fashioned way, via a standard 3.5mm stereo cable.
The lightweight, portable system can easily be slipped into a bag for travel, and is magnetically shielded to prevent damage to computers, televisions and other electronic kit. It delivers 6W of audio power, plus Mega Bass, and can be powered by either three AA batteries or an included AC adapter.
